Designed by Shirry Dolgin at ASD Interiors, this streamlined kitchen in Beverlywood, California brings high-gloss cabinetry and contrasting countertop colors together to create a modern masterpiece. PentalQuartz in Avenza lends a natural stone look to the design through the countertops and backsplash, expertly installed with diagonal veins running in the same direction. The perimeter countertops in Coastal Grey pick up the veining in Avenza and also ground the kitchen with the wide-plank grey flooring.
White cabinets give the illusion of a larger space and with windows on either side of the range, this kitchen benefits from light pouring in to bounce off the glossy surfaces. A large center island houses a double-bowl sink with polished silver fixtures and appears sculptural with waterfall edges on both sides. Square, metallic shapes are echoed in the seating at the island and dining table working with the geometric design of the kitchen.
In the adjacent bar area, Avenza is repeated on the backsplash and countertops with a matching waterfall edge. Open cabinetry houses liquor, spirits and wine with built in pegs for showcasing select bottles.
