With high contrasting black, white and grey tones, this tranquil bathroom takes a cue from Scandinavian minimalist design using tile and quartz from Pental Surfaces. Owner and designer Amy Allen used Mark Porcelain tile in an Esagono shape, Italian for “hexagon”, running through the floor and shower. The shape and shading of the Mark Tile in Graphite creates the illusion of a three-dimensional cube pattern, giving movement and rich texture to the space. 4×12 Subway Tile in a modern stacked pattern lines the open shower from floor to ceiling. A sleek white vanity is topped with PentalQuartz in Thassos Polished, our purest white quartz. Dual showerheads, lighting, fixtures, and vanity hardware are all in matte black, accenting the pale white and grey palette.
Design doesn’t stop with the installation. A boost of warm natural texture is added with thin bamboo detail around the twin Rejuvenation mirrors, grey Turkish cotton towels and two delicate green branches in a vase on the vanity. The final touch for the modern minimalist aesthetic lies in the color coordination of each and every product and accessory visible in the bathroom.
