Northwest Neutrals

This full interior transformation by Seattle-based interior design firm Tammara Stroud Design embraces an elegant and understated color palette throughout. Natural earth tones and textures move through the well-appointed layout with surfaces and design pieces that are timeless and family friendly.

Walls were removed to open up the kitchen which now features a large island with seating for 4 and multiple prep/work zones. Crisp white quartz countertops rest atop creamy white shaker cabinets with traditional silver hardware. A dramatic natural marble tile backsplash moves from countertop to ceiling layering texture and color into the space.

The serene bathroom was designed with a blend of neutral textures and a splash of natural marble patterning on the vanity. PentalQuartz in Onixaa is a great alternative to natural marble for kitchen and bath lending a classic Carrara look with its warm white color and subtle veining. A half wall of classic 3×6 white subway tile surrounds the freestanding bath paired with a deep greige paint tone. Minimalist artwork brings the mix of materials together for a serene finish.
