Granite & Kitchen Studio was tasked with bringing a dark and traditional kitchen to life for this remodel in Windsor, CT. With an open-concept design, open shelving and minimal use of upper cabinets, the makeover resulted in a lofty and modern space full of light and space to entertain. The soft grey of our Paloma Honed PentalQuartz brings a concrete-look to the countertops, pairing well with stainless steel appliances and white cabinets.
A narrow but functional island houses the sink and dishwasher and provides ample surface for food prep and dining. Four bright orange barstools add seating for four and a splash of color to an otherwise neutral palette.
On the backsplash, an arabesque mosaic tile in pure white moves from countertop to ceiling bringing movement and texture without distracting from the clean design. For a similar look, try our Arabesque Satin ceramic tile in Talco. Open shelving on either side of the range keeps kitchen essentials within arm’s reach and leaves space for colorful accents to punctuate the space.
