Artist Rachel Chamberlain and her husband, cabinet craftsman David Chamberlain, combined their design sensibilities to create a glamourous and highly functional kitchen in their Salt Lake City home. Designed to look like a piece of built-in furniture, the center island is the heart of this kitchen with quartz slab countertops, high gloss cabinets and glamourous gold hardware. PentalQuartz in Pearl White, installed by European Marble and Granite, provides a kid-friendly surface that can withstand the daily activity of this busy family. Granite natural stone in Fantasy Brown on the perimeter countertops and backsplash pairs well with the bright white quartz of the island and brings a sculptural elegance to the design. High ceilings, clear acrylic stools and tall cabinets make the space feel spacious, open and bright.
