The renovation of a 1940’s home on the north side of Seattle is a meditation in clean aesthetics. With design by White Space Design Group, removal of a portion of the wall separating kitchen and dining room opened the space and maximized storage. A monochromatic color palette is anything but boring with dark tile flooring in the kitchen and warm wood in the dining room. Light grey walls and ceiling are a subtle contrast to the bright white cabinetry and PentalQuartz countertops in Cascade White. A geometric shaped tile backsplash in brig ht white adds interest and modernity. Black cabinet and drawer pulls match the black faucet while complementing the floor and stainless steel appliances.
