Pearl White Waterfront

This 6,500 sq ft Mercer Island home by SkB Architects and Dyna Contracting was designed to maximize views on a Lake Washington waterfront lot. With a modern and open floor plan, the kitchen and living spaces open up on to extensive decks with tall sliding doors that let the light and natural beauty of the area pour in.

A narrow kitchen follows the wall of windows with sleek cabinetry and high end appliances. PentalQuartz in Pearl White was installed on a sculptural island with waterfall edges and seating for four. Warm tones and a subtle aggregate in Pearl White complement the zen, organic palette of the home.

To keep the minimalist kitchen layout in the main living area, additional cabinetry and appliances are tucked into convenient adjacent hallways.  The line of the dining table follows the shape of the island with a built-in bar area mirroring the main kitchen design. Exposed beams, light wood trims and sleek cabinetry give the interior a warm energy that resonates with the home’s natural surroundings.
