A bright, open and airy Venice bungalow is a guaranteed cure for the winter blues. With a modern and relaxed beach aesthetic, this renovated kitchen brings the outdoors in and provides a sanctuary for a busy family of four.
Owner and designer Kristin Dion from Kristin Dion Design used a crisp white palette with light cabinets and PentalQuartz in Statuario for the countertops, allowing the California sunlight to bounce through the open concept floorplan. On the kitchen island, the light grey veining of Statuario creates sleek architectural lines down a waterfall edge. Natural wood-toned furniture and accessories bring in elements of the adjacent patio area, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Punctuated by houseplants and minimalist black accents, the organic and beachy vibe beckons for laid back days spent in the comfort of home.
